Affordable Fiber Internet for Business Available Locally

Fiber Internet is Available in the Tri-Cities, WA

Did you know that there is fiber-optic Internet available in Benton and Franklin Counties? Our local utilities, Franklin PUD and Benton PUD, have partnered with NoaNet to provide inexpensive fiber-optic high-speed internet for businesses.

NoaNet, Northwest Open Access Network, is a not-for-profit wholesale telecommunications mutual corporation that has been serving Washington State since 2000 bringing world-class telecommunications technology to hard-to-reach communities which lack access to high-speed affordable broadband services.

Fiber Internet

Fiber-optic internet, commonly called fiber internet or simply “fiber,” is a broadband connection that uses fiber-optic cable, which amazingly can send data as fast as about 70% the speed of light. In addition, fiber-optic cables are not as susceptible to severe weather conditions as other types of traditional cables, which helps minimize outages.

Fiber Internet is the fastest, most-reliable Internet technology available and offers significantly better download and upload speeds and more consistent data transmission. Internet connectivity using fiber-optic networks has become the gold standard for fast, high-quality data transmission for businesses.

There is no better method than fiber optic cable for transmitting Internet data in the foreseeable future.
